Dierks Bentley recently took to the streets and beaches of Puerto Morelos, Mexico, to shoot the music video for his single “Somewhere On A Beach.” The video follows Josh – a character fans might recognize from Bentley’s “Drunk on a Plane” video — as he gets caught up in a whirlwind romance during his paradise vacation. Dierks says it took three days to shoot the video and they had a blast doing it. He shares, “We got so much great stuff all over this tiny little Mexican village outside of Cancun. It kills me to think about all the funny moments that we couldn’t fit into this edit.” As for the video’s lead character, Bentley says, “Josh is an old friend that some fans may recognize. He had us doubled over laughing on the set the whole time….really funny dude and incredible actor. I hope everyone digs our take on this story, which may be a little unexpected.” The video for the Top 20-and-climbing single can be seen here.
