Bookwell Travel To Donating Over 1200 Bags of Groceries, Equivalent to 35,000 Meals
Charleston, SC (March 23, 2021) – On Saturday, March 27th at 1p, Bookwell Travel will donate over 1,200 bags go groceries, equivalent to 35,000 meals to Project Cool Breeze & Concerned Citizens of the Peninsula of Lowcountry Non-Profit. The donation will be held at the Martin Luther King Park, 155 Jackson St, Charleston, SC 29403, as part of the next phase of Bookwell Travel’s national launch. Leading up to the donation, Bookwell Travel founder Brian Gates will run for 12 hours, starting just after midnight, from The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel at 115 Meeting Street – Charleston, SC 29401 to raise awareness for “End 12 Hours of Hunger.”

Bookwell Travel has donated meals to community organizations in Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Georgia with plans to donate 16 million meals to organizations fighting food insecurity by the end of the year.
